Ever wanted to make a face mask, but you didn’t know where to start? You may think face masks are super expensive and time consuming, but the truth is, you can probably make a face mask out of items that are already in your house! Here’s how to make a DIY Lush quality face mask in under one minute, with items in your own kitchen!
You Will Need:
Plain Greek Yogurt (1 cup)
Serves as an amazing base for a thick, creamy mask. The lactic acid will help with dry/itchy acne prone skin as well!
Contains Vitamin A, which is a form of retinol (ooh science words). This basically means it will help reduce discoloration and dryness.
Almonds (One small handfull)
A great natural exfoliant! Almond will give your face a shiny, healthy glow.
Honey (2 tablespoons)
Honey helps to fix pimples, scars, wrinkles and even (of course) dry skin. It’s basically the best thing in your kitchen to slap on your face. Literally just bathe in honey.
Glycerin ( Optional/1 Teaspoon)
Glycerin is a common ingredient in many anti aging products. You can find it in the grocery store! It basically holds same benefits as honey, so this is optional- but it will do good things and make you feel super medically intelligent when you mix it into a mask!
Step 3: Add in one half of avocado.
Step 5: Put it on your face, and enjoy it’s powers for 20 minutes! It will stay on your face really well, and doesn’t smell half bad either! It’s the perfect mask to make as a DIY with some friends at a sleepover!
